GDP-compliant 2–8°C, frozen, and ultra-low pharmaceutical storage — qualified, mapped, monitored, and audited.
The requirement
Pharmaceutical cold chain runs on qualification, not just refrigeration. A 2–8°C vaccine room must be temperature-mapped, continuously monitored with alarmed excursion response, and operated under GDP with documented procedures — and biologics increasingly push requirements to −20°C, −80°C, and cryogenic. General food-grade cold storage does not qualify.
The pharma-capable facility list is short and we maintain it: cGMP/GDP-compliant operators with validated chambers, 24/7 monitoring, serialization support, and in some cases DEA vault capability for controlled substances. Off-market and build-to-suit options exist for large programs.
